END-OF-LIFE SERVICES
What is an End-of-Life Doula?
End-of-life doulas, also known as death doulas or death midwives, are non-medical professionals who specialize in providing emotional, spiritual, and practical support to individuals and their families as they navigate the dying process.
Doulas support the care team in creating a compassionate and comforting environment, addressing psychosocial, spiritual, and practical dimensions of the end-of-life experience. Their role often involves helping individuals articulate their wishes, facilitating meaningful conversations, and offering companionship during the dying process.
An end-of-life doula can assist with personal advocacy, help clarify and record your quality-of-life wishes, and ease the burden of navigating complicated systems. You are more than a patient with an illness or an aging body. You are a whole person — with a life, relationships, and values that deserve to be seen, respected, and honored.
I provide end-of-life support designed to bring comfort, clarity, and steady care during a deeply personal time.
What’s Included:
• Gentle daily check‑in by phone, text, or video, in the way that feels most supportive to you, throughout our time together.
• Weekly visits in person or virtually to address end‑of‑life concerns, support you in completing documents and legacy projects, or thoughtfully support conversations with your care team and loved ones.
• Once a month dinner visit for deeper emotional, philosophical, and spiritual care.
I intentionally work with only three clients at a time so I can offer each person my full presence and availability.
